Hennepin County IT Alert: Web browser issues can be resolved with download

IT issues alert

Some Hennepin County employees are experiencing the error, "Your connection isn't private," when trying to access websites using the Edge or Chrome browsers. This is causing pages to hang-up or not load.

Employees are encouraged to download "Lightspeed" from the county's software center.

  1. Open the Software Center on your laptop's Start Menu.

  • Search for "lightspeed."

  • Click “Install” on the item titles “LightSpeed SmartAgent Certificate Update – LightSpeed SmartAgent Certificate Update"

  • It should take about 15 seconds to complete.
