 Hennepin County is proud to announce CEO Now, a new cohort opportunity designed to help eligible business owners with more than one employee establish systems to run their business more efficiently. Business owners will work with local advisors and their peers to develop a three-year strategic roadmap using a nationally recognized curriculum focused on strengthening core business principles.
Applications will be accepted starting today for two cohort opportunities offered in 2023. Learn more at information sessions in January and February (more below).

CEO Now is a new offering from Hennepin County that provides cohort-based executive education to growth-oriented business owners.
To be eligible, participants must:
- Be incorporated or operating in Hennepin County
- Employ at least one person other than the owner
- Have two years of operating history
- Report between $250,000 and $2 million in revenue
- Have a demonstrated desire to grow their business
- Be receptive to coaching, mentorship and collaborating with peers
- Prepare to commit up to 10 hours each month through the 7-month program
Larger businesses may be interest in CEO Next, a similar county program geared toward second-stage businesses. Both programs are part of Elevate BusinessSM, an initiative powered by Hennepin County.

The next Certified Access Academy is starting soon providing eight weeks of strategic consulting dedicated to educating a cohort of women of color business owners about the procurement process and providing the tools and resources necessary to get certified and do business with corporations and governments.
The next cohort launches on Wednesday, February 1 for Hennepin County-based businesses. If you are interested, apply below by 12 p.m. CST on Monday, January 23, 2023.
