Hennepin County responds to monkeypox (MPX)

Media availability with Public Health Clinic staff

Hennepin County’s Public Health Clinic (Red Door) diagnosed Minnesota’s first case of MPX on June 24. Since then, Hennepin County has been collaborating with MDH and other partners to respond to the outbreak. The clinic is currently providing MPX testing and is administering vaccine to high-risk individuals.

Members of the media are invited to attend an in-person MPX overview and question and answer session with clinic staff.
