State opens application window for frontline worker pay

Minnesota’s Frontline Worker Payment law allows Minnesotans who worked on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic to apply for Frontline Worker Pay.

Eligibility is based on work requirements, job sector, and income, as determined by the state. See the webpage for details, including requirements and how to apply.

The application window for Frontline Worker Pay opened June 8 and closes July 22, 2022. Directors, managers and supervisors may receive questions about Frontline Worker Pay. Please direct staff to the website. Note that Hennepin County does not determine whether an employee is eligible for Frontline Worker Pay. The state is responsible for administering this program and determining eligibility. Employees who think they meet the eligibility requirements need to apply on their own through the state’s website. The June 15 edition of Hennepin County News will include information for all staff.

See the state’s flyer for more information.
