State of the County address to be held June 22
Hennepin County Board Chair Marion Greene will hold the State of the County Address at 10 a.m. June 22.
The event will be livestreamed, so employees may view. Please discuss with your leadership team and employees if there is interest, so you can balance coverage. Otherwise, employees may watch the video, which will be posted in the June 15 edition of Hennepin County News.
Remember as a child, asking your parent or teacher for "one more story!" Storytelling is a time-honored tool for engaging people and building connections and empathy. How does storytelling connect to leadership?
The application window for Frontline Worker Pay opened June 8 and closes July 22, 2022. Directors, managers and supervisors may receive questions about Frontline Worker Pay. Please direct staff to the website. Note that Hennepin County does not determine whether an employee is eligible for Frontline Worker Pay. The state is responsible for administering this program and determining eligibility. Employees who think they meet the eligibility requirements need to apply on their own through the state’s website. The June 15 edition of Hennepin County News will include information for all staff.
Please approve time as early as possible this pay period and encourage your staff to enter time sheets by Friday. Deadlines will remain the same even though county offices may be closed on June 20 in observance of Juneteenth.
Time sheets submitted by noon on Friday, June 17, will be available for approval by 2 p.m.
