The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) is a federal initiative to support selected communities as they develop and implement a coordinated community approach to preventing and ending youth homelessness. In 2021, Hennepin County was selected, through a competitive application process to participate in the program. Learn more here.
Request for Information details
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to identify and select organizations to implement selected Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program projects.
Three projects were prioritized through the Coordinated Community Plan. The prioritized projects are:
- Permanent supportive housing - 15 units
- Rapid rehousing - 15 units
- Support services for 60 youth receiving a Foster Youth to Independence voucher.
The deadline to complete the RFI is May 15, 2022, at 11:59pm.
