“Successful community outreach continues to be critical to the future of effective policing,” - Sheriff David P. Hutchinson

This week high school students from Brooklyn Park, who are interested in working in law and law enforcement, participated in a mock trial. HCSO Deputy Ahmed Ismail Awl with COPA served as the mock judge. Below was the defendant Mr. Tater, who as you can see is a pretty suspicious character. You might even say he's "fry-tening!"

This year the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is selling Autism Acceptance Patches and Keychains to support a local organization that helps those with Autism and their families. The Patches are $10.00 and Keychains sell for $6.00. Click here to purchase the patches and keychains.

Below are all current openings at HCSO, both internal and open competitive.
