Support for Ukraine

Flag of Ukraine

My office stands with Ukraine and strongly condemns Russia's unprovoked aggression. Over a million Ukraine citizens have had to flee their homes. We appeal to Russia to stop their military operation and bring their troops home.

Haunting the Suburbs

Haunting the Suburbs, Suburbia in American Horror Films March 24th from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., this event is free!

As suburbs blossomed in the 20th century, they were often portrayed as idyllic embodiments of the American Dream. However, the horror genre instead mined suburban fears and anxieties to imagine what nightmares might lurk behind the white picket fences. Film expert Alex Weston will share spine-tingling excerpts from horror movies, made between the 1950s and today, that traded the crumbling Gothic castle for the suburban rambler with the immaculate lawn.

Note: This program will show some clips from movies that were rated “PG-13 and “R” by the MPAA
