Announcing required trainings for 2022: Please discuss with your staff

To ensure quality of service to all residents and security of data, every year Hennepin County requires countywide training. This year, five trainings will be required. Three of those trainings have March 31 deadlines. Please review these with your staff and encourage them to create an Outlook calendar entry so they meet these deadlines.

COVID-19 Safety Plan updates now in effect

The county updated its COVID-19 Safety Plan February 8.

See the COVID-19 Safety Plan.

Updates for the 7.0 version reflect:

  • Face covering options expanding for KN95s and N95s
  • Requirement for members of the public to wear masks if age 2+ instead of 5+
  • 2022 training requirements for new employees
  • Recent daily screening questions change
  • Recent change to supervisor process when an employee is sick or exposed

County leaders will continue to update and modify the COVID-19 Safety Plan as circumstances evolve. Employees should continue to direct specific questions to their supervisors.
