Dear member,

As a Hennepin Health member, you can get COVID-19 at-home testing kits at no cost to you as part of your health plan benefits. You can get eight at-home, FDA-approved tests per person, each month.

Here’s what you do

• Visit a Hennepin Health network pharmacy or any Navitus network pharmacy.
• Pick up an FDA-approved, at-home COVID-19 test
• Bring it to the pharmacy counter and show your member ID card.
• Buy the test at the pharmacy counter, not at the regular checkout.

You do not need a prescription for the test to be covered by your Hennepin Health plan. There is not an out-of-pocket cost to you.

You can also get a no-cost COVID-19 test in these ways

• Order an at-home PCR COVID-19 test online through the Minnesota Department of Health: https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/testsites/athome.html.
• Go to a public health testing site:
  • Hennepin County: https://www.hennepin.us/residents/emergencies/covid-19#registration
  • State of Minnesota: https://mn.gov/covid19/get-tested/testing-locations/index.jsp
  • Receive four free at-home tests from the federal government: https://www.covidtests.gov/
