Last week, our Community Outreach Team and Volunteer Special Deputies participated in the parade for the Light Up the Lake Festival in City of Wayzata (Local Government), and there was a Santa sighting!
Deputies Coaching Hockey!

If you look closely at the photo above you can see several members of the HCSO. Today, they helped put together this outdoor ice rink in South Minneapolis.

They volunteered on behalf of the Herb Brooks Foundation, which works to bring the game of hockey to kids. This year, more than a dozen HCSO deputies and staff members are volunteering their time to coach teams. Follow our social media channels below to learn more.

Last week, Sheriff Hutchinson became a Water Watchdog with Abbey's Hope Charitable Foundation. While the outdoor swimming season has come to an end, indoor water safety is just as important. Abbey's Hope works tirelessly toward a world with safer pools by providing education and advocating for comprehensive safety standards for all pools. To learn more about Abbey's story or how to become a #WaterWatchdog you can visit their website here.
