Required COVID-19 testing begins October 11 for unvaccinated staff
Weekly testing begins Monday, October 11, for staff who do not attest they are fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination. Testing is required for these employees who work on-site, hybrid or in the community.
Testing options include at-home kits and onsite testing at four Hennepin County buildings — Government Center, Brookdale, Southdale and Ridgedale.
Employees required to test must submit proof of test and results each week. They and their supervisors will receive specific details directly from Human Resources.
See all information on testing requirements, options, and processes to submit tests results.

Remember that Human Resources is continually listening and answering questions in the Future of Work FAQ. Keep checking the GAQs for more information.
Staff may also be asking about their assigned post of duty, how it was determined and if it can be changed. Please see the Human Resources Assigned Post of Duty FAQ and refer to any department-specific direction you have received.

Tools and support
Leader's facilitation package helps you share results of staff survey
Managers and leaders of Hennepin County talent, heads-up! Human Resources has heard that you desire more support on how to create that space where you and your team members can have meaningful conversations about how you make Future of Work successful. We created a deck and talking points that can help you engage your team members on the results from the Future of Our Work survey. Many of you may have already studied and shared the insights with your team members. Thank you!
Now, it is time ask your team members what they found encouraging with the survey results and what it means to your team.
We need to talk about what will make us successful and what action you feel confident taking now. You’ll have the opportunity to take the material and adapt as you see fit. You can also contact your organization development consultant to for facilitation support.
Watch out for an email from Human Resources coming later this week.

Strategy and vision
How can leaders use data for program improvement?
Data can show us the way to improve and transform county services, which is why Hennepin County is investing in a data infrastructure. To help leaders understand how data can help you, Hennepin Leader will publish “Data and the Art of the Possible” each quarter. Authored by staff in the Center for Innovation and Excellence, these articles will show how data is being used to drive better outcomes. This quarter, read about data and the county's pandemic response.
