Vaccinations are available to all adults who receive services through Hennepin County, and their families, at our community-based vaccine clinics. As trusted messengers to Hennepin County residents, we are asking for your help in encouraging them to get vaccinated.
Vaccinations are also available for employees of contracted human services and public health providers. Vaccination is not required or mandated in Minnesota, but employers may choose to encourage employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
The first step to getting a vaccine appointment is to get registered in our system. People who are not Hennepin County residents are still eligible to register. The registration system is online at: hennepin.us/vaccineregistration

For questions about COVID-19, the vaccines or for help registering, call 612-348-8900. Direct help is available in English, Spanish, Somali and Hmong.
Help residents and employees learn more about the COVID-19 vaccine
Some of the people you serve or employees may be hesitant to get vaccinated. You can help inform them about the vaccines and help them feel confident in making their decision.
These are some of the key messages we are emphasizing:
- The vaccine is safe, effective, and easy.
- The vaccine is free.
- You are not required to get the vaccine.
- Health insurance is not required.
- You will not be asked to show documentation of your immigration status.
- If you receive a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, either Moderna or Pfizer, it’s important to get your second dose for full protection.
- For all we’ve missed, don’t miss this!
Answers to frequently asked questions about the vaccines are available on the Hennepin County website.
