If your small business has been affected by COVID19, you may qualify for a one-time emergency forgivable loan up to $7500
Businesses must meet all the following criteria as of March 1, 2020 to be eligible. A business owner’s immigration status does not impact eligibility. Eligible businesses must:
- Be locally owned and operated for-profit business with a physical establishment in Hennepin County
- Have at least one W-2 eligible employee in addition to the owner as of March 1, 2020 and not more than 20 employees, and under $1 million in annual revenue
- Have been operating for at least 6 months prior to March 20, 2020
- Be licensed, in good standing, current on property taxes prior to May 15, 2020, if applicable
- Demonstrate a significant loss in revenue since March 15 (no credit score or collateral requirements apply)

Residents in suburban Hennepin County cities who have been financially harmed by COVID-19 may be eligible for emergency rental assistance.

If you live in Eden Prairie, you can apply through People Reaching Out to People (PROP) by calling 952-937-9120 or emailing prop@propfood.org .
If you live in Bloomington, call Volunteers Enlisted to Help People (VEAP) at 952-888-9616.
You may be eligible if you:
- Rent your housing in suburban Hennepin County (not including Plymouth, Bloomington, and Eden Prairie)*
- Have household income below 50% of the area median income (about $46,550 for a household of three)
- Lost income due to COVID-19
- Can’t afford housing costs this month
- Are not receiving Section 8 or other ongoing rental assistance
Priority will be given to households with incomes below 30% of the area median income and those who are ineligible for Unemployment Insurance.

Your community is counting on you to be counted. Our census team is working with our cities, school districts, and a variety of community organizations to make sure everyone is counted. The information collected will determine the resources available to us for the next 10 years for healthcare, education, housing, transportation, emergency services and other vital programs.

Public commentary at our board and committee meetings is essential to our work as a board. We are still working to refine the process to ensure residents have the ability to provide us with feedback on the county's work. Keep an eye on the County's social media pages for notifications on how and where to submit comments. We will likely need you to record your comments and submit them through our Adobe platform before the meeting.
The Richfield Farmers Market will be back in just a few weeks, and they will have a modified in-person market and pre-orders for drive through or on-foot pickup. Visit the website for more information and to place your order online.
Customer Expectations at the Market: Doing Your Part

- Make a shopping list to expedite your trip
- Wash your hands on the way in and out
- Keep your social distance, 6' from others
- Point to purchase: allow vendors to handle goods
- Limited number of customers in the market space: please be patient in line and shop efficiently
- One way traffic in the market space, follow the arrows, keep to the right
Curbside pick-up available at 8 libraries
Your library is still here for you. Hennepin County Library is committed to providing patrons expanded access to online resources and safe access to physical materials through a limited curbside pickup service.
Curbside pickup is offered for materials currently available at eight regional library locations: Brooklyn Park, East Lake, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Ridgedale, Washburn, and Webber Park.
Hours for curbside pickup: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At the Hennepin History Musem, the vast majority of the support for preserving local history comes from individual donors. Particularly while the museum cannot host visitors, it needs your help more than ever.
