Welcome to the Zero Waste Challenge and the first edition of the Zero Waste Update!
Now that you've completed four weeks of waste tracking and attended an intro training, it’s time to take action toward a zero waste lifestyle. Your staff liaison will check in with you soon, if they haven’t already, to review the waste reduction and diversion strategies you identified at the intro training.
You'll receive a Zero Waste Update about every two weeks. The newsletter will include dates of upcoming workshops and events, program updates, and articles focusing on different zero waste topics. Past editions will be available on the Zero Waste Challenge participate web page.
If additional members of your household want to receive the Zero Waste Update, sign up here.
Households are required to attend at least one workshop or webinar during the challenge. Workshops and webinars are led by Hennepin County staff and provide hands-on instructions for taking zero waste actions. They are also an opportunity to get your questions answered and have discussions with other participating households. RSVP for events on Facebook or by contacting your staff liaison.
