Repaving project in Plymouth

Work begins tomorrow

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1, crews will repave Rockford Road (County Road 9) between Dunkirk Lane and Polaris Lane.

This work is done in stages. First, we ground away, or mill, the existing pavement. Then, we pave, or overlay, a new layer of pavement. Finally, we add new striping and pavement markings.

Due to the nature of this work and the weather, the exact start and finish dates may vary. Weather permitting, this repaving work is expected to be completed in roughly two to three weeks.

Repaving to impact traffic  expect delays

This work will be completed under traffic. This means people can continue to use the road. You should expect delays and day-to-day traffic configuration changes when traveling through the area.

Flaggers will be on site to help guide people driving on Rockford Road.

Staying safe

For your safety and the safety of our crews, we ask that you obey all posted speed limits and slow down where crews are working.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue project work in this area.
