Orono Police Department to Hold Press Conference at 1:30 p.m.
APRIL 10, 2019 (Orono) - Orono Chief of Police Correy Farniok will hold a press conference at 1:30 p.m. today concerning the deaths of two people at a home on Shoreline Drive. The press conference will be held at Orono Police Headquarters, 2730 Kelley Parkway, Orono, MN 55356.

The Orono Police Department are investigating the death of two people along with assistance from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office investigators and Crime Lab.
The bodies of a male and female were discovered at a home on 1700 block of Shoreline Drive in Orono, MN. The Hennepin County Dispatch center received the call this morning at 8:31 a.m. The Orono Police Department states that there is no risk to the public.
Crime scene investigators are in the beginning stages of the processing the scene. This is an active investigation. More information will be made public as it becomes available.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will make the identification and official cause of death.
