Due to the recent spring snowstorm, Hennepin County’s autonomous
shuttle demonstration on a two-block stretch of the Midtown Greenway,
originally planned for this weekend, has been rescheduled for next weekend,
April 27 to 29.
This weekend, snowbanks along the demonstration route would
have limited what the county and our partners were able to learn, as well as
community participation.
Collecting feedback from shuttle riders and trail users is an
important part of the demonstration. With warmer weather in the forecast next
weekend, we hope many residents will join us to experience this new technology.
