County Road 101 (Bushaway Road) in Minnetonka, Wayzata and Woodland update

Updates from the project area

The bridge over the railroad corridor is on schedule for opening November 1. Workers continue to make final preparations for the bridge to reopen, including paving the approaches to the bridge deck and working on the pedestrian and bike trails in the surrounding area.

Crews only need to pave the bridge deck approaches, because the pour for a concrete bridge like this includes the wear course. This means it is ready to be driven over without adding any additional layers of pavement.

Minnehaha Creek Watershed District causeway project

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) began working along the causeway on Tuesday, October 18. Their shoreline restoration project will involve placing rip-rap (stone) and other material along the shore. This will help address the waves that have been washing over the roadway.

Crews are also finishing the guard rail installation along the causeway. We appreciate your patience with staying off the sidewalk until this work is complete.
