Medical Emergency on Long Lake

July 30, 2016 (ORONO) - Hennepin County Sheriff’s deputies, Orono Police officers, and Long Lake firefighters were dispatched at approximately 6:26 p.m. to Summit Park Beach on a call of a medical emergency involving an adult female. 

Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the individual who was eventually pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. 

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name and cause of death of the individual.
