Brooklyn Park Design Workshop
Help shape the future of Brooklyn Park —
and make the most of light rail transit!
What
Station area planning for Brooklyn Park’s five proposed light rail transit (LRT) stations launched in June with a community-wide meeting. Nearly 100 people talked about the strengths and weaknesses of the areas within a 10-minute walk of each LRT station and their visions for these places.
Now, during a four-day design workshop from September 28 to October 1, the planning team will use community input to develop initial design concepts for each station area. You can get involved at any or all of the events listed below.
Note: Children’s activities will be available at the October 1 and November 4 events.
