AppleFest
AppleFest is an annual apple festival celebrating the apple industry and the history of this community. Enjoy live entertainment, an arts and craft show, car show, flea market, golf tournament, and lots of apple pies and apple treats! Sept. 20-22, Mankato
Mahkato Wacipi
Native Americans from a number of tribes gather each September in Mankato’s Land of Memories Park, where the Dakota people held many ceremonies and gatherings before the US-Dakota War of 1862. The conflict resulted in the execution of 38 Dakota warriors in Mankato on December 26, 1862. In keeping with the theme of reconciliation, visitors and participants, native and non-native alike, are welcome to attend. Boats and Bluegrass Festival

St. Paul Oktoberfest
The St. Paul Oktoberfest is considered to be Minnesota's most authentic Oktoberfest! Festivities begin with a horse-delivered keg of beer followed by a keg tapping ceremony to officially kick-off Oktoberfest. Enjoy great food and refreshments, live music and entertainment both days. Hullabaloo 2019
This annual fall festival returns with hot tunes, fresh beer and delicious food. This year's lineup includes the funky, rock, pop and hip-hop sounds of 11 carefully curated DJs and bands. A throwback edition of Transmission with DJ Jake Rudh starts off the weekend with a dance party on Friday, followed by a full day of music on Saturday including Nur-D, with his full band, and Kiss the Tiger. The 13th Annual Minneapolis Bike Tour starts and ends at beautiful Boom Island and features two fully supported routes, 16 miles and 32 miles, that take riders through the spectacular park and byway system of Minneapolis at their own pace, traffic free! With the Birch Bark Bash and Unplugged Performance (Friday and Saturday evenings respectively), classic craft coursework, performance workshops, Points North Online Auction and Folk Artisan Marketplace, it's a true celebration of the educational mission of North House.
