This year’s lineup includes Flying Bird shows by Schlitz Audubon, Wings to SOAR and the World Bird Sanctuary, and presentations by the Midwest Peregrine Society, National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, Pipestone National Monument, Quarry Hill Nature Center, U.S. Fish & Wildlife and Whitewater State Park. March 30 - April 7, Minneapolis Starch Madness: Baking a Cookie Champion As Minneapolis hosts the 2019 NCAA Final Four basketball championship, join Mill City Museum for Starch Madness, a cookie competition to decide the ultimate cookie champion! In March, vote on Facebook to nominate your classic favorites and rookie cookie recipes that will make up the field of 16 Sweets. In the following weeks, cast your votes online to decide which cookies move on to the round of eight and the top four. April 5-8, Minneapolis 2019 NCAA Final Four College hoops fans from around the globe will descend on Minneapolis to see this year’s top four teams face off to be crowned the 2019 NCAA men’s basketball champion. April 5, Minneapolis Pitchfest: MCAD's Art's Entrepreneurship Competition The Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) is proud to present Pitchfest, the first Arts Entrepreneurship Competition. This is an exciting opportunity for MCAD undergraduates to stretch their creative thinking, consider how they can impact the world, and win some fantastic award money. Twenty-four applications were submitted and 12 were selected as finalists. Mentors are matched with the finalists to help them prepare for their final presentations.
