May 5, Longville Global 6K for Water The "Global 6K for Water" is organized through World Vision, with runners joining runners around the world to bring awareness to this important cause. Every entry provides clean water for one person for an entire generation. The distance will be 6K, which is the average distance a person, usually a woman or child, must walk to obtain water. Once access to clean water is provided in an area, the mortality rate for children under 5 years old drops by half.
