Eric Bergeson is an author and speaker from Fertile, MN. His sixth book, “A Treasury of Old Souls”, is a collection of stories about elderly people who befriended him as he grew up on the family nursery. The lessons he learned from them stuck with Eric ever since. The heroism and humor of his elderly friends as they moved from full independence to requiring nursing home care is the central theme of “Treasury.” Eric will share stories of his Great Aunt Olive, who lived to 103 years of age, and other elderly folks who have enriched his life. This exhibition, supported by the McKnight Foundation, showcases the success of each artist’s fellowship or residency.
