SeptOberfest
The 10th Annual SeptOberfest includes an array of exhibits featuring the largest pumpkins, tallest sunflowers, best scarecrows, and other autumn decorations throughout town. Additional festivities on Saturday, September 17 include street performers, pony rides, children's activities, carriage rides, Music Under the Bridge performance, pumpkin carving, face painting, and a special German meal at the Silver Star Saloon. Cannon River Winery Fall Grape Festival

The 77th Annual King Turkey Day Festival features race teams herding their star "athletes" (turkeys) down Main Street! Mahkato Pow Wow

Sept. 22-25, Winona
Boats and Bluegrass Festival
Boats and Bluegrass is a family friendly festival featuring roughly ten popular bluegrass music acts including Pert Near Sandstone and Charlie Parr. Numerous canoe trips will also be offered, with Winona State University Outdoor Education and Recreation Center staff leading the trips through the backwaters of the Mississippi River around Prairie Island.
