Project Title: SMC Davis Pit
Project Description: Oldcastle Materials (OMG) Midwest dba Southern Minnesota Construction (SMC) proposes the expansion of sand and gravel mining and processing on approximately 89 acres at SMC Davis Pit in Kasota Township, Le Sueur County, Minnesota. Conceptual reclamation includes future industrial land uses and open space including grassland and open water.

Project Title: I -94 Reconstruction St. Michael to Rogers
Project Description: The proposed project will construct an eastbound auxiliary lane between Trunk Highway (TH) 241 in St. Michael and TH 101 in Rogers. On westbound I -94 the project will lengthen the existing exit ramp to TH 101 by 1,500 feet. The project will also construct a third westbound general purpose lane from TH 101 to TH 241. The project the construction of a noise barrier on the north side of I-94.
The comment period for this project will be February 3, 2014 through March 5, 2014. A copy of the Draft EAW can be accessed from MnDOT’s website at http://mndot.gov/d3/i94/ . It will also be available in hard copy at the following locations:

Project Title: Minnesota Security Hospital Expansion and Renovation
Project Description: Renovations and additions are proposed for the Minnesota Security Hospital (MSH) in St. Peter. Building additions of 223,500 SF to the existing MSH Building would occur over two phases as well as renovations to the existing MSH facility. Associated site work would include stormwater management, access roads and utility extensions.

Project Title: Coffee Creek Bank Stabilization in Enger Park
Project Description: This project willl stabilize stream banks that were washed out by the June 2012 flood. The City of Duluth will remove a partially washed out culvert and restore approximately 1100' of stream channel to a natural state through an old pond bed formed by a dam that was also blown out in the same flood event.

- Scott County, Dem-Con Recovery and Recycling Facility Expansion, 1/22/2014 (11/11/2013).
Project Title: Jordan Aggregates FEIS
Project Description: On January 21, 2014, the Scott County Board of Commissioners determined that the Jordan Aggregates Final Envionmental Impact Statement was inadequate and directed staff to work collaboratively with State Agencies to address those elements of the Jordan Aggregates Final Environmental Impact Statement deemed to be inadequate including preparation of a Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan noted of concern by the Metropolitan Council, MDH and MPCA and impacts associated with Sand Creek noted of concern by the DNR and City of Jordan.
Scott County will proceed according to 4410.2800 Subpart 5 and prepare an adequate EIS within 60 days of receiving authorization from the Project Proposer as evidenced by adequate replenishment their Escrow in accordance with their signed agreement with Scott County. Scott County will circulate the revised FEIS in accordance with part 4410.2700, subpart 3.
