 Childhood Brain Surgery Won't Slow Down St. Cloud State University Student's Passion for Broadcasting
A nine-year journey will conclude for St. Cloud State University student Carl Goenner when he receives his diploma in May. Goenner has spent years broadcasting sports at SCSU’s on-campus radio station — the type of college experience that seemed improbable after he was diagnosed with several brain tumors at only eight years old.

 Saint Paul College Student Goes From Fleeing a Civil War to Maintaining a 4.0 Grade Point Average
Most students face difficult challenges at some point during their education. Having escaped a civil war and learning a new subject in a completely different teaching style, Saint Paul College student Shwe Let Let Aung from Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) has overcome these challenges and adapted smoothly.
