Hello! Minnesota State plays an essential role in delivering the talent employers need to grow and succeed. In fact, Minnesota State graduates more people for jobs in critical, high-demand fields such as healthcare, transportation, and information technology, than any other higher education provider in the state. Below I share with you two stories of students from Minnesota State community and technical colleges who are pursuing high demand careers and will soon be joining our state’s workforce. Enjoy!

Century College Student Support Services and Community Help Gabby Her 

Gabby Her had a negative experience in high school. She didn’t get the support she needed and dropped out for a short time. However, she soon returned to night school, completed her degree while working full-time, and is now following her dream at Century College.

Northwest Technical College Student Terra Paulbicke Paves Way for Other Women in Field

Women only account for 12 percent of auto technicians in the United States. But that statistic hasn’t stopped Terra Paulbicke. She always knew this would be her career path and she found a home for that passion in Northwest Technical College’s automotive lab.
