 Bemidji State University Senior Looks to Help Others Overcome Addiction
Zach Gordon, a senior in Bemidji State University’s social work program, was inspired to pursue the university’s licensed alcohol and drug counseling certification, after battling with his own addictions. Now nearly two years sober, Gordon is helping others in recovery.

 St. Cloud Technical & Community College Alum Brings Non-Traditional Approach
St. Cloud Technical & Community College graduate Alejandra Ramírez dropped out of high school in ninth grade. When she talks about the path her life took, she says she did the life stuff first, then dove into education— getting her high school diploma in her twenties and then moving on to college.
