As many in the Eden Prairie community continue to experience challenges due to ongoing federal immigration operations in the area, the City is working with local partners to share information and coordinate opportunities for neighbors to support one another.
Below are ways residents can help, along with resources available to those who may be in need.
Community Drop-Off Event: Through Friday, Feb. 6.
Beginning today, the City is accepting donations on behalf of PROP Food Shelf, The PROP Shop and Senior Community Services.
Drop off non-perishable food and other items (no monetary donations) during business hours at the following City facilities through noon, Friday, Feb. 6:

- Canned meat (no chicken or tuna)
- Crackers
- Packaged cookies
- Pasta sauce

- Batteries (AA or AAA)

- Pull-ups and large diapers (size 4–6)
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Tissues
- Toilet paper

- Thank-you cards or note cards with envelopes
- Unscented lotions
- Winter gear

Skate and Donate: Friday, Jan. 30
The Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a special Skate and Donate event from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30 at Staring Lake Park. The family-friendly event brings the community together for an evening of skating and supporting those in need.
