Senior Center Closed The Senior Center is closed Nov. 27–28 for Thanksgiving.
Citizens Academy for Seniors Begins in November The Eden Prairie Police Department (EPPD) is offering Citizens Academy for Seniors, a four-week overview of the EPPD covering DWIs and traffic safety, investigations and internet safety. There will also be visits from the drone, K-9 and SWAT teams. The classes run on Wednesdays, Nov. 19 and 26 and Dec. 3 and 10 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Senior Center. To register, contact Officer Jason Hunt at jhunt@edenprairie.org or 952-949-6286 by Nov. 4.
Free Haircuts for Veterans Griswold Care is offering veterans free haircuts at the Senior Center Nov. 10 from noon to 3 p.m, following the Veterans Breakfast. Call 952-279-8050 to book your spot.
The Story Behind the Pie Register for A Slice of Minnesota History for a sweet and savory storytelling event as we dig into the roots of one of the Midwest’s most iconic holiday desserts — the Festal Pumpkin Pie — and the incredible local woman behind the recipe that has stood the test of time. Registration deadline Nov. 18.
