Hiring Bonus
Candidates who successfully complete field training and one year of employment receive a hiring bonus of $3,500.
Salary
2025 pay scale — $39.24 (Step 1) to $57.17 (Step 5)
2026 pay scale — $40.42 (Step 1) to $58.89 (Step 5)
Officers reach the top of the pay scale in five years.
Lateral officer starting pay is based on years of sworn experience and qualifications.
