Gamiel is deeply rooted in Eden Prairie—he grew up here, graduated from Eden Prairie High School, and has long been involved in the community he calls home. Over the years, he has served in a variety of roles with the City, first as a summer camp counselor and more recently as a recreation athletics lead.
As an EPHS Eagle, Gamiel was a multi-sport athlete—playing football, basketball and running track—and was part of three state championship football teams under Coach Mike Grant.
After spending the past few years leading high school athletics and activities, Gamiel returns to Eden Prairie with a continued passion for serving the community. We’re thrilled to welcome him back!

Experience Open Swimming with reduced environmental stimulation — no music or water features, and lifeguards refrain from using whistles (except in case of emergency).
