Yesterday the City of Eden Prairie held its Spring Employee Recognition Event where employee award recipients, new employees and employees celebrating milestone employment anniversaries were recognized.
Five EPPD employees were recognized for their years of service including three employees who have been with the City for 25 years.
In addition, Records Supervisor Alyssa Benkowski received an “EPy” Award for her work quickly adapting to the role of supervisor and the significant impact she has had on the Records Unit and the Police Department as a whole. She has successfully managed difficult projects and brought a fresh perspective to work processes – identifying those that are redundant, cleaning up others and identifying areas where the department can be more efficient. Alyssa has excellent attention to detail, is methodical in her approach to documentation and communications, and is extremely reliable. On top of that, she is patient and widely respected by her peers – both in the City and in other agencies. We are grateful to have her on our team!
The City Manager’s Quality Award Alyssa received is given to employees who have performed at a high level of productivity and quality and reflect the City’s core values: Collaboration, Innovation, Integrity, Performance and Relationships.
The EPPD would like to congratulate Alyssa and the other EPPD staff who were recognized for their accomplishments.
