Celebrate and acknowledge the many contributions and accomplishments of older adults, recognize organizations that serve older adults, and enhance community involvement across generations. The City of Eden Prairie has celebrated Senior Awareness Month since 1993.
Celebrate Arbor Day at Staring Lake
Join the City's annual Arbor Day Celebration Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at Staring Lake Park (14800 Pioneer Trail).Event highlights include a tree walk-and-talk, seedling giveaway (while supplies last), free compost, free bandanas for leashed dogs (while supplies last) and information on trees, native plants and sustainability.
Drug Take Back Day
Recycle your unwanted drugs and medications Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. No need to register; just stop by the back parking lot of the Senior Center after you leave the Arbor Day Celebration!

Coffee with the Cops
Learn more about your police department in a relaxed setting. Meet Officer Jason Hunt and other Eden Prairie officers for coffee. Discuss road laws, police topics and share your concerns. Officer Hunt will also share stories from his 12 years on patrol. Registration deadline March 31.
