As 2024 comes to an end, I would like to take a minute to thank the Eden Prairie community for their support this past year.
We can’t do our jobs effectively without the assistance and backing of our residents. We were fortunate to be able to work with a number of community organizations throughout the year.
We worked with PROP Food Shelf to collect more than 8,500 pounds of donated food from generous residents as part of our Night to Unite celebration.
The Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund and Scheels came together with our officers and firefighters to help provide an opportunity for 14 kids to purchase presents for their family members through our Holidays with Heroes event.
We partnered with Godavari Indian Restaurant, the Eden Prairie Senior Center, McDonald's, 7 Corners Coffee, Lunds & Byerlys, Target, Starbucks and Scheels to host Coffee with a Cop events throughout the city where we got to meet many of you.
Every day there are little things community members do to help keep our city safe. From calling about a suspicious vehicle to providing aid to someone experiencing a medical incident, our residents are true partners in protecting and serving Eden Prairie. Please take a moment to watch this short video that highlights some of the ways we work together to build community.
For all these things, and many others, I would like to thank our residents for a great 2024 and a wonderful past 51 years. It is our honor and privilege to protect and serve you and we look forward to continuing to work together in the coming year.
