Veterans Breakfast Features Distinguished Medevac Pilot
Eden Prairie resident Lt. Matthew Partyka served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years. During several combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Lt. Partyka served as a medical evacuation (Medevac) pilot, flying into some of Iraq’s most perilous areas nearly every day to rescue individuals who had been shot or injured in accidents. Though the constant threat of enemy fire and improvised explosive devices loomed, it’s the landings that made his mission especially treacherous.
Hear Lt. Partyka’s stories and honor his bravery at this year's Veterans Breakfast.
