Last Saturday EPPD Dispatcher Dennis Clark was promoted to Dispatch Supervisor for the City of Eden Prairie with the impending retirement of long-time supervisor Lisa Vik.
Dennis has worked for Eden Prairie for the past three years and has spent the past 25 years working in public safety. While in Eden Prairie, Dennis has served as a 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator, Communications Training Officer and Terminal Agency Coordinator. Dennis earned a fire science degree from Purdue University and is a recent graduate of the National Emergency Number Association’s Communication Center Manager Program.
Dennis has worked on an ambulance as a nationally-registered EMT and has worked in multiple fire departments as a firefighter, lieutenant and captain. Dennis was on the New Hampshire strike team for wildland deployment throughout the country, which opened the door for him to work for FEMA, and he has been deployed multiple times to disaster areas as a team leader following catastrophic hurricanes.
Congratulations Dennis!
