Have you ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes at the EPPD? Well, here’s your chance to find out! The EPPD is offering a Senior Citizens Police Academy this fall.
The academy is a five-week overview of the EPPD and will cover fraud case studies, crime statistics, DWIs and traffic enforcement. There will also be visits from the drone, K-9 and SWAT teams. Classes run Wednesdays, Oct.16–Nov.13 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. On the final day lunch is provided. The academy is sponsored by the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund.
