The City is installing a new traffic signal at Franlo Road and Prairie Center Drive to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
Construction will be split into different stages and each stage will include directional closures and detours.
Work Begins Monday, July 29
Work on westbound Prairie Center Drive, between Flying Cloud Drive and Preserve Boulevard, is expected to begin Monday, July 29.
Traffic will be detoured south along Preserve Boulevard, then west along Anderson Lakes Parkway, then north along Flying Cloud Drive. View the detour map [PDF].
Crews will begin removing existing pavement, installing new storm sewer, reconfiguring the intersection and installing new traffic signal posts.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes to access local businesses and navigate through the area.
