On April 20, 2024, Alyssa Benkowski was promoted to records supervisor after serving as a records specialist for the EPPD since 2018.

Alyssa earned a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies in 2012 and worked as a legal administrative assistant for approximately eight years before joining the EPPD.

During her tenure with us, Alyssa has also served as the investigations support specialist, working directly with the Investigations Division on search warrants and human trafficking operations. Alyssa has also been an active member of various professional organizations, including the State Suspense User Group, MN-LEAP (Law Enforcement Administrative Professionals), MN Data Practices Feedback Group and the Focus on Records (F.O.R.) User Group.
