Have you ever wondered if you installed your child’s car seat correctly? If so, you’re not alone.

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration estimates that almost half of child safety seats are installed incorrectly.

If you would like help with your child’s car seat, come to the EPPD’s Spring Car Seat Clinic Sunday, June 2 at Eden Prairie Fire Station #1 (14800 Scenic Heights Road) from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Our certified car seat technicians will check your car seats for proper installation.

There are no appointments needed for this free clinic – participants will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to bring your car seat, manual and child to the clinic, and please stay in your car until a staff member approaches you.
