May is Senior Awareness Month in Eden Prairie
Senior Awareness Month is a time to celebrate and acknowledge the many contributions and accomplishments of older adults, recognize organizations that serve older adults, and enhance community involvement across generations. The City of Eden Prairie has celebrated Senior Awareness Month since 1993.

 Join us for Pinochle!
Pinochle is a trick-taking card game that's usually played with two to four players and a 48-card deck. The goal is to score points by winning tricks and forming melds. If you haven't played before, come anyway! Someone will teach you how to play the game.

 Shred Truck
Shred your unwanted or important papers to keep your identity safe. Two paper bags per person; no three-ring binders or plastic bags. All are welcome. No need to register; just drive through the Senior Center back parking lot. Event is held rain or shine. Please arrive after 10 a.m. A portion of this event is sponsored by Home Instead, Elim Shores, Landmark Tours and Senior Advisory Council. No registration necessary.

 Chat with the Chiefs
Meet and enjoy a cup of coffee with Eden Prairie Police Chief Matt Sackett and Fire Chief Scott Gerber. They provide an overview of their departments, answer questions and address concerns. Registration deadline May 13.
