Prescribed Burn Planned Near Community Center
A prescribed burn is planned sometime this month along Valley View Road, on the southern side of the building and parking lot area.
The prescribed burn is expected to last one to three hours, dependent upon weather conditions. The burn will be conducted and carefully managed by City parks and natural resources staff, with assistance from the Fire Department.
Prescribed burns help to rejuvenate growth and ensure long-term survival of the native prairie by controlling invasive plants.
If you have any questions, contact the City’s Parks and Natural Resources Division. Find out more at edenprairie.org/PrescribedBurn.
