Learn all about clay through the creation of a sweet candy jar. Students practice hand-building and color underglazing to make a food-safe container for yummy treats.

Beginning Watercolor and Beyond
Ages 15+
This supportive class is designed for those who are new to watercolor painting or who want to increase their skills after time away from the brush. Instructor-led demonstrations guide participants step-by-step through painting land, water, winter-scapes, florals and wildlife to help with techniques as they work on their own paintings. Additionally, in-class exercises cover paint-mixing and exploring various applications such as the use of salt, rice paper, masking and palette knives to achieve desired effects.

 Learn to Paint
Ages 18+
If you have always wanted to paint this is a great opportunity to learn the basics in a relaxed and friendly environment. Instructor-led demonstrations guide participants through painting a still-life or landscape using acrylic on canvas board.

10 a.m.–noon
 Fused Glass Suncatcher or Bowl
Ages 13–16
Explore the brilliance and light-capturing quality of glass by making a colorful suncatcher or small bowl. Instructor guides each participant through the fun and rewarding process of designing and assembling pre-cut glass on a clear base to introduce the basics of fused glass.
