 As part of Eden Prairie’s emerald ash borer (EAB) management plan, the City is removing a portion of ash trees in areas with active EAB infestations and high ash populations, and individual ash trees not suitable for treatment.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 23, parks and natural resources staff are marking ash trees designated for removal on City property and in the right of way (ROW) with an orange ring.
Tree removals generally occur between November and March.
