A Veterans Day to Remember

The Official State of Minnesota Veterans Day Program was held Sunday, November 11 at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights. The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs along with Veterans, families, elected officials and community members celebrated and honored all Veterans who have served this country. This year’s program had a focus on the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice that ended WWI – with a very special nation-wide Tolling of the Bell that was held at precisely 11 a.m. A special thank you from MDVA to all who attended and participated in this remarkable event.
