To our outstanding Minnesota telecommunicators,
As we celebrate Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, I want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible work you do every day.
Thank you for the long hours, resilience and compassion you bring to each call. You are often the first voice people hear during an emergency, the lifeline between Minnesotans and first responders, guiding help where it is needed.
It takes a special kind of person to carry out your mission, and you do it with excellence.
In recognition of that excellence, Governor Tim Walz has signed a proclamation officially dedicating this week as Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in Minnesota.
