Registration open for 2025 Minnesota Wildfire Academy
What: Minnesota Wildfire Academy, hosted by the Minnesota Incident Command System (MNICS), provides opportunities to train in wildland fire operations, planning, safety and leadership development. Courses are designed to engage students in simulations and work the tools, equipment and procedures standard to wildland firefighting.
When: June 2-6, 2025
Where: Minnesota North College - Itasca Campus in Grand Rapids
Members of Minnesota fire departments, HSEM and SFM will receive priority registration through March 18, 2025, and are eligible for tuition reimbursement through the Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant (VFA).
