Workgroup Provides Opportunity

for Involvement  


Join the Standards Workgroup and make a difference! 

The Standards Workgroup is accepting new members from all facets of the public safety world -- dispatch, fire, police, EMS, public works, emergency management, and public health.

Meetings typically occur on Mondays from 9:30-11:00 a.m. via WebEx and conference call.

Joining the workgroup does not commit you to anything; however, it does give you an opportunity to weigh in on standards policy and procedures as well as discipline-specific Best Practice Guide content.

Emails are sent prior to Monday's calls with standards or best practice guides that will be worked on during the call.  Even if you feel you are not very well-versed on a particular subject, you can always call in to listen. Workgroup members have said it is a great way to learn.  

If you simply want to keep abreast of changes but do not have time to join the calls, you still have an opportunity to provide feedback when the synopsis from each call is sent to all members of the workgroup.
